Why families choose the desktop edition

• Private by design. Your salary, bank interest, and NIC never touch the internet — not our servers, not anyone’s. The app works fully offline; the only network activity is the optional backup to your Google Drive or OneDrive and checking for updates.
• Pay once. Rs 7,000 launch price (the regular price is Rs 15,000). No subscription. When the IRD changes the tax tables (usually each April), an optional update is available — buy it only in years you file; that year’s price is announced with the update.
• The whole household. Prepare returns for you, your spouse, your parents — every income type: employment (APIT credits from your T-10), rent (25% standard deduction or actual costs), FD interest (10% AIT credit), freelance income with deductions, and remitted foreign income at the 15% cap.
• File without the fight. When you’re ready to submit, the app gives you a guided field-by-field fill for the IRD e-services portal — each figure from your prepared return, matched to the exact portal field, in order. You review and submit yourself, on the official portal. (Automatic form-filling via our Chrome extension is part of the hosted accountants edition.)
• Your backup, your cloud. One click saves an encrypted backup file to your own Google Drive or OneDrive.

What it produces

The exact schedules the IRD return asks for — employment, investment, business, foreign income — plus your liability computed band by band, APIT/AIT credits applied, and the balance payable or refund due. Requirements

Windows 10 or newer · macOS 12 (Monterey) or newer. For the filing step you’ll use the IRD e-services portal in your usual browser.
