Founding 100, answered.

Yes. The licence for the Y/A 2025/26 edition is free, with no card and no subscription. The only ask is feedback after you file and, if you are happy, a review. When the IRD changes the tables next April, the update is optional and paid, exactly as for every other customer.

It covers the Y/A 2025/26 edition, which is everything you need to file this season. You can keep using the app after that; only the next tax year's tables are a paid update.

Two reasons. The SMS code stops one person claiming several seats, and WhatsApp on that number is the only support channel for founding members. We do not sell or share numbers.

No. To keep things fast for 100 households, support is WhatsApp only, and only from the mobile number you verified. Your key screen and key email both have the WhatsApp link.

No. LankanTax Desktop has no server component. Your salary, NIC and bank details stay on your computer. The only network activity is the optional encrypted backup to your own Google Drive or OneDrive and checking for updates.

The form switches to a list for the next batch. People on that list get founding pricing before anyone else.

Founding 100 terms

  1. One licence per household, tied to one verified Sri Lankan mobile number. Not transferable or resalable.
  2. The licence covers LankanTax Desktop, family edition, Y/A 2025/26. Future tax-year updates are optional paid upgrades.
  3. The offer is limited to the first 100 verified households and closes on 15 October 2026, whichever comes first. LankanTax may end it earlier.
  4. Support is provided on WhatsApp only, from the registered mobile number, to the registered email where relevant.
  5. Founding members agree to a short feedback conversation after filing. Reviews are always voluntary.
  6. Your name, email and mobile are stored to administer the licence and support, under the Personal Data Protection Act No. 9 of 2022. Ask us on WhatsApp to delete them at any time after the season.
  7. LankanTax prepares returns; you submit them yourself on the IRD e-services portal and remain responsible for what you file.
